Summary

We collect limited usage and diagnostic data through Google Firebase Analytics to improve app performance and user experience.
Data you enter (e.g., meal plans, dish notes) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or contact information.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
You can opt out of analytics data collection through the app’s or your device settings (see below).

We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect the following types of information:

App usage data: Which features are used, how often, and app performance metrics
Device information: Device model, operating system version, app version
Crash and error reports: Technical diagnostic information when the app encounters problems
Session data: App open/close events, session duration (not linked to your meal planning content)

This data helps us:

Meal plans, dish data, cooking schedules, and other content you create within the app is stored locally on your device
This local data is not transmitted to our servers or third parties
Local data is used only to provide core app functionality

Google Firebase Analytics: We share usage and diagnostic data with Google as described above. Google may use this data in accordance with their privacy policy.
No other third parties: We do not share your data with any other third parties.
No data sales: We do not sell your data to anyone.

Analytics data is retained by Google Firebase for up to 26 months, then automatically deleted
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app

All user-created data is stored locally on the device and remains there unless you choose to delete it.
Uninstalling the app will remove locally stored app data from your device.

Analytics data is transmitted securely using encryption
Local data security depends on your device’s security measures
Please protect your device with a passcode and keep your operating system up to date

Analytics data may be transferred to and processed in countries where Google operates data centers

We process analytics data based on our legitimate interest in improving app performance and user experience, balanced against your privacy rights.

You can opt out of analytics data collection by:

App level: Use the app’s built-in option to disable analytics (if available)
Android: Go to Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
Device level: Turn off analytics sharing in your device’s privacy settings
Uninstalling: Remove the app from your device

Local data: Delete by clearing the app’s storage in device settings or uninstalling the app
Analytics data: Contact us if you want your analytics data deleted before the automatic 26-month retention period

We may update this policy to reflect app changes or legal requirements
Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Effective date” above
Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
